胡燕祥簡介

胡燕祥北京人士, 三歲随父母遷居台灣, 並完成學業,1982年跟從李欽聃先生習花卉, 隨陳逸先生習禽鸟.1988年移居温哥華,1989年拜周士心教授習吳門畫派之花卉、山水、蔬果, 同時随黎沃文老師習書法.1995至今参加多次聯展.

1986年牡丹作品入 “藍天藝展” 創作獎, 並至全省巡迴展出.

1987年参加龍安國小教師 “梅花研習斑” 獲優選佳作獎.2002年榮獲温哥華中华文化中心” 飛躍” 畫展入圍評審獎.

現任教於台灣大專加西校友會中文學校教師.

溫哥華華人藝術家協會、加拿大文化藝術總會、烈治文華人書畫協會、青雲畫會會員.

Tina, Yen-Tsiang Hu was born in Beijing and at the age of three moved to Taiwan with her family. She completed her education there and started learning the art of floral painting in 1982 from Li Chin-Dan and progressed into fowl and bird painting from Chen Yi. She immigrated to Vancouver in 1988 and continued to study Wu's painting from Professor Chow Su-Sing in 1989 which included topics such as: floral, landscape and vegetables. She is currently studying calligraphy with Lai Yuk-Man.

In 1986, her piece "Peony" earned the Creative Award from the Blue Sky Art Exhibit in Taiwan. She was awarded the Excellence Award for her work in 1987 from "Plum Blossom Class" the Long An Elementary School Teachers. In 2002 she received the Juried Award for "In Motion" from the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Vancouver. She has also participated in a number of group exhibitions from 1995-2009. She is currently a member of the Chinese Canadian Artists Federation in Vancouver, Richmond Chinese Calligraphy & Painting Club, Blue Cloud Artists Association and the Teacher of the Chinese School affiliated with the National Taiwan University Alumnus in West Canada Subjects.
